Naming
Names that win arguments, pass legal and survive growth.
Naming is the highest-leverage decision a young company makes — the wrong name costs years of marketing budget and brand equity. We run naming as a focused sprint: deep discovery, 200+ candidates per round, narrowing to a shortlist that has passed trademark and domain checks, finishing with a clear recommendation backed by strategy and tone-of-voice samples. Output is one name we can confidently launch, plus two viable alternates and a written rationale your team can use to defend the choice.
How we work
- 01
Brief
We start with a positioning brief — audience, category, sound, length, languages it needs to work in. Without strategy, naming is a vibe; with it, naming is a decision.
- 02
Exploration
Generate 200+ candidates per round across multiple naming directions (descriptive, evocative, invented, founder, abstract). We present the strongest 15–25 in context.
- 03
Validation
Trademark pre-screening, domain availability check, linguistic checks across markets you operate in. Candidates that fail at this stage exit; the shortlist passes.
- 04
Recommendation
One recommended name, two viable alternates, full rationale and example tone-of-voice copy showing how each name reads in headlines, ads and product copy.

Common questions
Do you handle trademark filing?
We pre-screen names against existing trademarks in your target markets. Actual filing is handled by your IP lawyer — we provide them with the brief and the rationale to support the application.
What if the recommended name fails trademark?
It rarely happens — pre-screening catches the obvious conflicts. If a filing fails for an unexpected reason, we re-engage at a reduced rate to find the next strongest candidate from the shortlist.
Can the name work in Uzbek / Russian / English?
Yes — we screen for pronunciation, meaning and tone in every language you operate in. For Central Asian launches that's typically UZ, RU and EN; we can add others.
Do you design the logo too?
Naming is often a standalone engagement. If you want naming + identity from the same team, we bundle them — saves 2 weeks of context transfer.
