About the project
Sardoba Agro Holding is one of Uzbekistan's major agro-industrial holdings. The project involved developing packaging design for the Mechta margarine line in two variants: classic (72%) and premium (82%). The key objective was to visually distinguish two products within a single line while maintaining brand recognition. The solution is built on color coding: a light white-green palette for 72% conveys lightness, freshness, and accessibility; a deep dark green for 82% reads as a more saturated, rich product — premium-tier within the brand. The handwritten Mechta logotype preserves a sense of homemade warmth and naturalness — an emotional anchor that brings the product closer to the consumer. Appetizing food illustrations — an oil drop, a swirl of margarine, bread — create visual appeal directly on the shelf. The Halal mark is prominently featured on the front: a critically important trust signal for the Uzbek market. The packaging was developed with shelf perception in mind: readability of the product name, fat content, and key message "Premium Quality Margarine!" is ensured even at a glance in competitive retail environments.
Results
A packaging system was developed that clearly differentiates two products within the line and ensures high shelf visibility. The design conveys the brand's core values — naturalness, quality, and trust — and complies with Halal certification requirements.
